Frequently Asked Questions:
>>>>> Can you do better with shipping costs?
The options you see on this website are the best costs I've been able to find to date.
USPS provides safe/traceable shipping.
As better options are discovered, they will be added to or replace existing options.
However, please feel free to suggest a carrier or shipping service in your inquiry. I'd be happy to research your suggestion.

>>>>> Can I buy just selected pieces from your kits?
I am avoiding this at all costs!
When you obtain a kit from me, you are receiving pieces that were designed to my specs. These pieces are then tested together to ensure the desired results are obtained from the kit overall. (Do you know any other seller who actually weighs their glass adapters to ensure the glass thickness and consistency of performance for each piece? Light or heavy adapters are discarded, as their performance characteristics will differ from adapters which meet my specifications.)
My reputation and the reputation of my mods and kits depends on a person receiving the advertised effects, performance, ease of use, and other parameters for which my kits are known.
Just because you've sourced an 18mm F/F glass adapter, does not mean you have a DDave Adapter. In fact, there's no chance you have a DDave Adapter unless you've obtained it from me. I work exclusively with glass manufacturers under strict agreement that when I ask them to create pieces to my specifications, that these pieces are not sold anywhere else. This to preserve Mod Kit reputation as a reliable way to get all the right pieces the first time and know they were all tested and work well together.
I cannot tell you how many times I have seen postings reporting one of my mods isn't working as expected, or someone is having difficulties with a DDave Mod.... So I reach out to this person asking for details of the issue and verification that they indeed received their mod pieces from me. Results are as you see in the picture below. The person deletes their posts or ignores my communications, as they sourced their pieces elsewhere and because they "looked the same as my pieces", used my name/brand when describing them.
Here's a great example of what happens when you source pieces elsewhere:
This REDDIT exchange took all of 10 minutes.
I saw the post, replied back asking for details and where this person sourced their pieces.
Immediately the post was deleted and the person stopped responding to any messages I sent.
