Hate having to be so careful while holding your VapCap during heating?
Here's the answer:
Install the adapter as demonstrated in the pictures (ensure to fold back that silicone as shown!)
Insert your VapCap until it bottoms out on the glass adapter, then let go.
VapCap will heat on its own.
Remove VapCap once the VapCap clicks, then enjoy!
When installed as shown in the pictures of this listing, the glass insert will be held firmly in place. The adapter can be removed manually, but will not fall out during use.

Using a metal VapCap Body? See pictures relating to Mod Insertion Distance. Basically, if you insert a VapCap using a metal body too far into an SJK IH, you heat the cap/tip, BUT YOU ALSO HEAT THE METAL BODY. If your VapCap metal body is getting hot when using this mod, it's easy to test if the mod is installed too deeply in the IH by heating your VapCap & metal body with a butane torch. If the body of your vapcap no longer becomes hot, then it indicates the mod is installed too deeply in the IH and insertion depth should be adjusted.
Why is the insertion depth not accounted for already? The SJK IH triggering sensors can vary widely from unit to unit. Providing a mod that is adjustable will allow you to find just the right depth and angle for your particular unit. It's easy to move around, so if it's not working nicely on the first install, try a different insertion depth.

Provided Cups: It has been reported that some vendors include plastic cups, others silicone. The Silicone cup is not needed and will impact the installation, as it is a bit flimsy. Not using either cup will not impact use or functionality of the IH, however using the plastic cup will allow easy repositioning of the mod to gain the best angle to activate the triggering mechanism on your particular IH unit.
Note: This model IH has a built in safety feature, overheating protection. When this is triggered, the LED on the unit will flash orange and no heating will occur. If this happens and your VapCap has not yet clicked, simply remove the VapCap from the unit and reinsert it. The LED will return to Green color and heating will continue.
(This is an awesome feature, as with any hands-free device, it can be forgotten.)
